This sweet vintage sterling silver envelope pendant has the loveliest details, including an engraved address to the front that actually exists in London! The front of the envelope has a little stamp detail to the top right corner and the address reads:
'R.A.S Gibbs Esq
118 Oakwood Court
London W14'
The back of the pendant even has detailing for the envelope flap too and British hallmarks for sterling silver, London and the date letter 'f' for 1961. There is also a maker's mark but this is hard to read clearly.
The pendant measures approx 18.7mm tall by approx 31.7mm wide (not including the jump ring) by approx 1.5mm deep and weighs approx 8.7g.
Condition - The charm is in good vintage condition but does show signs of age and wear including patina and surface wear to the silver throughout. There is also a mark to the back of the envelope to one side that looks to be from casting. The jump ring is currently pushed closed. Please see photos.
