This vitnage movable gold mouse/bear charm is a little on the creepy side and perfect if you're looking for a more unusual Halloween charm! We think it may originally have had some sort of gemstone eyes but these have been removed, giving it a really eerie feel.
The charm has been incredibly well made, with each of its legs, arms and head being connected to the body with the ability to move each limb, 360 degrees. The fact that its head can swivel all the way around is particularly scary!
We can't quite decide if it's a bear or mouse, it does have big round ears and a slightly pointy nose like a mouse but its body looks a lot like a teddy bear.
The charm is made of 9ct yellow gold and has British hallmarks to its body for 9ct gold, London and the date letter 'f' for 1961.
The charm measures approx 26mm tall (not including the jump ring) by approx 16mm wide by approx 6.6mm deep and weighs approx 3.5g in total.
Condition - The charm is in good vintage condition with some signs of age and wear. There is some light surface wear to the gold and glass. The eye has been glued in place, it sits ever so slightly off centre to the left and some of the glue is visible behind the eye, particularly on the right hand side. The jump ring is soldered closed.
