Known as the stone of opportunity, green aventurine is said to help attract luck, prosperity and abundance. This vintage gold talon charm is grasping a green aventurine orb which is a beautiful vibrant green shade.

The charm is made of 9ct yellow gold with British hallmarks for 9ct gold. There is also what looks to be the Birmingham Assay Office hallmark and also a date letter but they are hard to read clearly. We believe the charm is circa 1960s in age.

There is such wonderful detailing to the talon throughout. The charm measures approx 27mm tall (not including the jump ring) by approx 16.7mm wide by approx 18.8mm deep and weighs approx 8.2g. The orb measures approx 14.1mm in diameter.

Condition - The charm is in good vintage condition but does show some light signs of age and wear, including light surface wear to the gold and aventurine orb. The jump ring is currently soldered closed. Please see photos.
