This vintage gold 1960 St Christopher medallion is the perfect charm to add to your talisman collection if you travel a lot. The patron saint of travelers, he's said to bring you protection when on a journey (we like to think physically or mentally).
The charm is heart shaped which is slightly more unusual than the round shape St Christopher medallions are usually found in. The front of the charm has lovely raised detailing depicting St Christopher.
The charm is made of 9ct gold and has British hallmarks to the back for the maker ‘W.H.C’, 9ct gold, Chester and the date letter ‘K’ for 1960.
The charm measures approx 17.7mm tall (not including the jump ring) by approx 13mm wide by approx 1.1mm deep and the charm weighs approx 1.4g in total.
Condition - The charm is in good vintage condition with some light surface wear to the gold. The jump ring is currently soldered closed and has an old dark solder mark to it. Please see photos.
