Vintage enamel charms are one of our absolute favourites to find and this vintage gold and enamel Joker playing card charm is such a rare one to find! Highly collectable, this vintage gold playing card has such intricate enamel detailing. Perhaps you love to play cards or you consider yourself a bit of a joker, this would be such a fun charm to add to your collection.
 
The charm is made of 9ct yellow gold and has British hallmarks to the back for maker 'IG', 9ct gold, what looks to be the London Assay Office mark (this is hard to make out clearly) and the date letter 'Q' for 1951. The enamel detailing is to the front of the charm and the back is plain besides the hallmarks.
 
The charm measures approx 13.8mm tall (not including the fitting ring or jump ring at the top) by approx 10.7mm wide by approx 0.8mm deep and weighs approx 1.1g.
 
Condition - The charm does show significant signs of age and wear including a large chip to the enamel to the top right corner. The chip has gone through to show some of the gold underneath where the enamel would be in the corner. The white enamel is partially chipped next to this but is still partially intact. The chip is in an area where the design is white enamel so it doesn't change the Joker playing card details which are to the centre, top left corner and bottom right corner. There is some surface wear to gold to the back. The jump ring is currently pushed closed. Please see photos and videos.
