This sweet vintage gold and enamel bird charm looks as if it's tweeting away! We love the enamel detailing to the front, we think it's possibly been coloured to look like a greenfinch which symbolise happiness and joy.
The charm is made of 9ct gold and has British hallmarks to the back for what looks to be the maker 'IG', 9ct gold, London and the date letter 'Q' for 1951.
The front has such lovely enamel detailing and the back is plain and concave.
The charm weighs approx 1.4g and measures approx 9.9mm tall (not including the jump ring) by approx 22.8mm wide by approx 3mm deep.
Condition - The charm is in good vintage condition but does show signs of age and wear, including some surface wear to the gold and enamel. There is s small area of damage to the enamel roughly in the centre of the bird'd body. Please see photos.
*Please note the chain and box pictured are not included in the sale but the fob will be shipped in a new presentation box and pouch.*
