This vintage gold horseshoe charm has lovely detailing to the front and is pointing upwards which is said to 'hold' the good luck inside the horseshoe when you wear it. Such a sweet lucky charm to wear mixed in with other charms and talismans or on its own as a simple, classic pendant.
The charm is made of 9ct gold and is marked '9c' to the reverse. Without further hallmarks, it's hard to date the charm exactly but we believe it's likely circa 1950s in age.
The charm measures approx 12.4mm tall (not including the jump ring) by approx 9.2mm wide by approx 1.3mm deep and the charm weighs approx 0.25g in total. It has lovely raised detailing to the front and is plain to the back. The charm is hollow in the middle and there is an airhole to the back from where the charm was made.
Condition - The charm is in good vintage condition with some surface wear to the gold. There is a mark to the back near the bottom. The jump ring is currently pushed closed. Please see photos
