We love searching for charms as you never know what you’ll find next, like this unusual vintage gold chicken and wishbone !
The charm is made of 9ct gold and is marked '9c' to the back. Without further hallmarks, it's hard to date the charm exactly but we think it's likely circa 1950s in age.
The charm is wonderfully detailed to the front and features a chicken set inside a wishbone. The back of the charm has been left plain and is flat. The charm is hollow in the middle and has a small air hole to the back from when it was made.
The charm measures approx 21mm tall (not including the jump ring) by approx 11.2mm wide by approx 2.4mm deep and weighs approx 0.8g in total.
Condition - The charm is in good vintage condition but does show some light signs of age and wear, including some surface wear to the gold. There is a small intent to the wishbone near the top. The jump ring is currently pushed closed. Please see photos.
