This incredibly well made vintage gold charm we think is modelled on a famous TV character from the 1940s/50s - Muffin the Mule!
It's wonderfully detailed and is made up of seven different parts that are jointed so it has incredible movement - a lot like a puppet, just without the strings.
The charm is made of 9ct gold, unhallmarked but tested. Without hallmarks it's hard to date the charm exactly but we think if it is modelled on Muffin the Mule it likely dates to the 1950s.
The charm measures approx 15.9mm tall (not including the jump ring) by approx 24.1mm nose to tail by approx 4.8mm deep and weighs approx 3.3g.
Condition - The charm is in good vintage condition with some light surface wear to the gold. The jump ring is currently pushed closed. Please see photos.
