This vintage gold opening record player charm would be perfect for a music lover, or a singer or musician! When worn closed up, the little box looks a lot like a locket and opens to reveal a tiny black enamel vinyl record and gold tone arm inside.

The charm has lovely detail to the front when closed of an engraved treble clef with a border design.

The charm is made of 9ct gold and is marked '9ct' to the back. Without further marks it's hard to date the charm exactly but we believe it's likely circa 1950s/60s in age.

The charm weighs approx 2.35g and measures approx 12.2mm tall when closed (not including the jump ring) by approx 12.2mm wide by 7.3mm deep.

Condition - The charm is in good vintage condition but does show some signs of age and wear, including surface wear to the gold. The hinge mechanism works well and the charm clicks firmly closed. The jump ring is currently pushed closed and is attached to the handle so it can move from side to side when worn. Please see photos

*Please note the antique chain and box pictured are not included in the sale but the charm will be shipped in a new presentation box and pouch*
