Inspired by a quote from a French love poem by Rosemond Gerard “For you see, each day I love you more, today more than yesterday and less than tomorrow", this romantic vintage gold pendant would be such a sweet love token to gift to that special someone in your life or maybe even to gift to yourself as a reminder to be kind and love yourself!
The pendant features the wording 'Qu'hier Que Demain' with a plus and minus symbol to represent the poem. The plus is set with a small rose cut diamond and the minus is set with two baguette cut synthetic rubies. The front is also marked 'A.AUGIS'.
To the back, the charm has also been personalised with some very sweet hand engraving and enamel. It reads 'CP A BE 9.1.68' which we believe are two people's initials and the date 9.1.68 which we think is likely for the year 1968.
The pendant is made of gold and has the French eagle head mark for 18ct on the top bail that the jump ring connects to.
The pendant measures approx 14.8mm in diameter, approx 21.8mm tall including the and bail and jump ring, by approx 1.2mm deep. The pendant weighs approx 1.8g in total.
Condition - The pendant is in good vintage condition with some surface wear to the gold and the stones. There are some noticeable surface scratches to the back. The engraving to the back has some black enamel detail to the lettering and numbers which has worn away in places. The jump ring is currently soldered closed. Please see photos.
*Please note the antique box and chain pictured are not included in the sale but the pendant will be shipped in a new presentation box and pouch*
