Known as a protective stone, turquoise is said to bring power, luck and protection to its wearer. This buttery 18ct gold gold ring is set with five oval turquoise cabochons in a beautiful flush settings making it such a timeless and comfortable ring to wear. We love how the turquoise stones have height too, meaning the ring looks just as fabulous side on!
The ring is made of 18ct gold and is marked '18' inside the shank. Without further hallmarks it's hard to date the ring exactly but we think it's likely circa early to mid 20th Century in age. The turquoise vary in shades of blues and greens.
The ring measures approx 5.8mm wide at the front and the shank tapers down to approx 2.3mm wide at the back. The ring weighs approx 5g.
Ring size - approx a UK N / approx a US 6.5
Condition - The ring is in good vintage condition but does show signs of age and wear including some surface wear to the gold and turquoise stones. The turquoise vary in shades of blue and green and we believe the centre is a replacement stone as there is a very small gap to the setting and the turquoise is much brighter blue in colour to the other stones.
