Calling all Sagittarians, we have the perfect medallion charm for you! We love finding vintage Zodiac jewellery and seeing all of the different design interpretations. This fabulous vintage 18ct gold circular zodiac charm features pretty black and white enamel detailing to the front.
The charm is made of 18ct gold, marked '750' to the back. There is also what looks to be an Italian maker's mark to the back too starting with a star but we can't clearly make out the rest. Without further hallmarks it's hard to date the charm exactly but we think it's likely circa 1970s in age.
The charm weighs approx 1.4g and measures approx 13mm in diameter, approx 15.6mm tall (not including the jump ring but including the ring the jump ring attaches to).
Condition - The medallion is in good vintage condition but does show signs of age and wear to both the gold and enamel. The enamel is raised in places and this has been chipped just places which can be seen depending ok the angle the charm is viewed at. There is also an old gold test mark to the back of the charm that is made up of scratches and a change in colour to the gold. The jump ring is currently pushed closed. Please see photos.
