We love finding antique and vintage chains, they seem to be getting harder and harder to find these days too! This particular vintage 9ct gold chain is made of beautiful shade of rose gold and has a super versatile dog clip clasp too.
Chains with dog clip clasps are such versatile pieces for your jewellery box and a real timeless piece too! Wear it on its own, layer it with other chains and easily add and swtich up charms/pendants by attaching them to the dog clip. So many different looks in one!
The chain is made of 9ct rose gold and measures approx 18 3/4 inches long (approx 48cm) including the dog clip clasp. The link measures approx 3.4mm wide. One of the links near the clasp has British hallmarks for 9ct gold and another link has British hallmarks for Sheffield and the date letter 'Q' for 1990. The chain weighs approx 10.25g in total.
Condition - The chain is in very good vintage condition with just some light signs of age and wear including some very light surface wear to the gold. The dog clip still works well and the links are in very good condition. Please see photos.
