Surrounded by the digital world, it can be nice sometimes to recieve post (or mail for our friends across the pond!) rather than emails or texts. We love the thoughts this vintage gold US mail box charm evokes of handwritten letters and the excitement of waiting for the postman to arrive.
 
It even opens too, with two hinged sections and there is just enough space inside to hide a tiny love note!  
 
The charm is made of 10ct gold, marked '10k' to the bottom. Without further marks, it's hard to date the charm exactly but we think it's likely circa 1950s in age. 
 
The charm weighs approx 1.35g and measures approx 16mm tall (not including the jump ring) by approx 8mm wide by approx 6mm deep. The charm is hollow in the centre. 
 
Condition - The charm is in good vintage condition with some surface wear to the gold. The jump ring is currently pushed closed. Please see photos.
