Rare and highly collectable, we completely fell head over heals in love as soon as we saw this vintage gold bean charm! A symbol of luck, as well as rebirth and new beginnings, it's one of very few we've seen with hand engraving.
The front is hand engraved 'Lu' and is set with a turquoise coloured, paste stone. The back is also hand engraved with the name 'Frank'.
The bean is made of 9ct gold with a lovely warm, rosy tone to it. The charm is marked '9c' to the back.
The charm measures approx 21mm tall (not including the jump ring) by approx 10.5mm wide by approx 5.7mm deep and weighs approx 2.1g in total. The charm is hollow in the middle and has been made by joining two halves of the bean together so there is a seam line that runs around the sides. There is also a small airhole to the bottom of the bean from when it was made.
Condition - The charm is in good vintage condition considering it’s age but does show signs of age and wear, including wear to the gold and the paste stone. The jump ring is currently soldered closed. Please see photos.
