This preloved 9ct gold signet ring features an unusual design of what look to be two entwined snakes with their tongues out hissing at each other. We love the detail!
The ring is made of 9ct gold and is a lovely chunky shape given its small size. The ring has British hallmarks for 9ct gold, London and what looks to be the date letter 'O' for 2013. There is also what looks to be a maker's mark but it's hard to make out clearly.
Ring size - the ring measures approx a US 2.5 / approx a UK E 1/2 on a ring mandrel. It is quite chunky in design given its size.
The ring weighs approx 6.3g and the face measures approx 10mm by 9.1mm. The shank tapers down to approx 3.6mm wide at the back of the shank.
Condition - The ring is in good condition but does show signs of age and wear. There is some surface wear to the gold and some marks that look to be from when it was made via casting. Please see photos.
*Please note the antique box and ring mandrel pictured are not included in the sale but the ring will be shipped in a new presentation ring box and pouch*
