This unusual antique silver pendant features two animal teeth, capped in silver so they can be worn as a pendant. We think it could possibly be what's known as a Charivari pendant, a good luck charm worn in Bavaria for prosperous hunts.
The teeth are set in 835 silver and the back of the bail is marked '835'. The pendant measures approx 36.5mm tall (including the bail) with one tooth measuring approx 6.2mm wide and the other approx 7.4mm wide. The pendant weighs approx 3.5g.
Condition - The pendant is in good antique condition with some surface wear to the silver fittings and also the teeth. Please see photos.
*Please note the antique box and chain pictured are not included in the sale but the pendant will be shipped in a new presentation box and pouch.*
