We love finding these antique love tokens, you never know what engravings you're going to find! These sentimental gifts were made of coins, smoothed down on either one side or both and then hand engraved with names, terms of endearment, special dates or even secret messages and then gifted to your loved one - such a sweet present to show your love!
This love token has been smoothed down on one side and then hand engraved 'Alex 1894'. The other side has been left as is and shows the side profile of the Netherlands Queen Wilhelmina.
The love token is made of .640 silver (unmarked) and measures approx 19.4mm in diameter (approx 26.2mm tall including the jump ring at the top) and weighs approx 3.1g.
Condition - The love token is in good antique condition with some surface wear and patina to the silver. The jump ring is currently pushed closed. Please see photos.
