These antique split rings make fantastic charm holders! They work like a key ring, you can pull the ring apart at one side and charms can be added on and then the split ring can be pushed back together again. Such a versatile addition to your jewellery box.
The split ring is gold cased, meaning the centre is base metal and a fine layer of gold has been adhered to the outside. It is unhallmarked. The ring also has a lovely chased pattern to it too.
The split ring measures 17.5mm in diameter and is approx 2.25mm thick and weighs approx 1.7g.
Condition - The split ring is in good antique condition with some surface wear throughout. The split ring pulls open and still clicks closed. The two sections sit a little apart when closed. Please see photos.
