We love finding antique chains and they seem to be getting harder and harder to find these days too! This particular chain has a really lovely tiny round link, interspersed with a fancy oval design throughout the chain. Perfect if you'd like to wear a light chain that looks interesting on it's own, without a pendant, or it would look lovely layered up in a neckmess too!
The chain has a classic antique oblong barrel clasp which is marked '9ct' for 9ct gold and also 'CIRO'. The gold of the chain and clasp has a lovely soft rosey tone to it.
The chain measures approx 17 inches long (including the clasp), approx 43cm. The fancy oval links are approx 9.6mm long by approx 2.7mm wide. The chain weighs approx 2.1g in total.
Condition - The chain is in good antique condition but does show some signs of age and wear, including some surface wear to the gold. The barrel clasp still works well and clicks closed. Please see photos.
