This antique pendant has such a timeless look about it. Made of gold, it dates to Birmingham, England, 1920 and features a star resting within a crescent moon.
It's been really well made with a lovely thickness to the gold. The fob is made of 9ct gold that has a soft warm, rose tone to it and has British hallmarks to the back for the maker 'I S G', 9ct gold, Birmingham and the date letter 'V' for 1920. The attached jump ring is also hallmarked for 9ct gold.
The fob measures approx 26.6mm tall (Not including the jump ring but including the fitting at the top) by approx 22mm wide by approx 1.45mm deep and weighs approx 5g.
Condition - The fob is in good antique condition for a piece that is 100 years old but not surprisingly for a piece of this age, it does show signs of age and wear. There is surface wear to the gold. The jump ring is currently pushed closed. Please see photos.
*Please note the antique box and chain pictured are not included in the sale but the fob will be shipped in a new presentation box and pouch.*
