We love finding these antique love tokens, you never know what markings and engravings you're going to find! Made from an antique Edwardian 1907 British bronze penny farthing coin, the pendant/charm has had a tiny horseshoe added to one side, complete with paste gems added. The back has been stamped with the message 'GOOD LUCK' too. A decorating top has been added so a jump ring can be attached and worn as a pendant.
The coin dates to 1907 but we believe the additions of the horseshoe and good luck message, and turning it into a pendant has happened at a later date to this.
The pendant is made of bronze (unmarked) and measures approx 20mm in diameter (approx 37.2mm tall including the fitting and jump ring at the top) and weighs approx 3.1g.
Condition - The love token is in good antique condition with some surface wear and patina to the bronze and faux gemstone horseshoe. The jump ring is currently pushed closed. Please see photos.
