This antique 18ct gold five stone diamond ring ring is set with such sweet rose cut diamonds. We love how looks like an all-seeing eye - a wearable protection piece perhaps!?
The ring is made of 18ct yellow gold and the face of the ring has an 18ct white gold wash to the top that really compliments the grey toned rose cut diamonds. The ring is marked '18c' inside the shank. The diamonds are rose cuts set in open back settings.
Without further hallmarks, it's hard to date the ring exactly but given the style of the 18ct gold mark and the design and materials of the ring, we think it's likely circa early 20th Century in age.
Ring size - approx a US 6 / approx a UK M
The ring's face is approx 14mm by 4.5mm and the ring's shank is approx 1.5mm wide at the very back. The ring weighs approx 1.9g in total.
Condition - The ring is in good antique condition but does show signs of age and wear, including surface wear to the gold and diamonds. The centre diamond does look like it could have been reset at some point in time (we think this looks like an old repair if so). Please see photos.
*Please note the antique box pictured is not included in the sale but the ring will be shipped in a new presentation ring box and pouch*
