We love finding these antique love tokens, you never know what engravings you're going to find! These sentimental gifts were made of coins, smoothed down on either one side or both and then hand engraved with names, terms of endearment, special dates or even secret messages and then gifted to your loved one - such a sweet present to show your love!
This Victorian British love token has been smoothed down on one side and then hand engraved 'Kitty' within a sweet heart design. The other side has been left as is and shows that it was originally a British threepence coin dating to 1891.
The love token is made of silver (unmarked) and measures approx 16.6mm in diameter (approx 19.5mm tall including the jump ring at the top) and weighs approx 1.2g.
Condition - The love token is in good antique condition with some surface wear and patina to the silver. The jump ring is currently pushed closed. Please see photos.
