This vintage gold 1966 St Christopher medallion is the perfect charm to add to your talisman collection if you travel a lot. The patron saint of travelers, he's said to bring you protection when on a journey (we like to think physically or mentally).
The charm is heart shaped which is slighly more unusual than the round shape St Christopher medallions are usually found in. The frontof the charm has lovely raised detailing depicting St Christopher.
The charm is made of 9ct yellow gold and has British hallmarks to the back for the maker ‘GJLD’, 9ct gold, London and the date letter ‘C’ for 1977.
The charm measures approx 13.2mm tall (not including the jump ring) by approx 10.5mm wide by approx 1.3mm deep and the charm weighs approx 1g in total.
Condition - The charm is in good vintage condition with some light surface wear to the gold. The jump ring is currently pushed closed. Please see photos.
