How fun is this vintage gold whistle charm!? We love finding charms that open or move as they often hold a hidden surprise. This whilste charm faintly reads 'WOLF WHISTLE' to the outside and is also wonderfully decorate. It opens to reveal a tiny gold wolf inside!
The charm is made of 9ct gold with British hallmarks for the maker 'H.G&S', 9ct gold, Birmingham and the date letter 'Q' for 1965.
The charm measures approx 20mm long (not including the jump ring at the top) by approx 10.4mm wide by approx 9.6mm deep and weighs approx 3.95g in total.
Condition - The charm is in good vintage condition but does show signs of age and wear, including surface wear to the gold, particularly where it reads 'WOLF WHISTLE' to the outisde. The word 'WOLF' has almost completely worn away. The hinge mechanism works well and the charm closes firmly with a click. The jump ring is currently soldered closed. Please see photos.
