This vintage fob is such a beautiful piece of jewellery, likely originally made to wear on a watch chain, we think it makes a stunning pendant when worn on a chain.
The bottom of the fob is set with a piece of tigers eye and the top features a gilded sterling silver prowling bear. The base of the bear is marked 'STERLING SILVER' which has been gilded to give the look of solid gold but without the price tag.
The fob measures approx 23.2mm tall (not including the jump ring) by approx 27.1mm wide by approx 15.4mm deep and weighs approx 4.95g in total. The tigers eye slice measures approx 23.9mm by 15.4mm by 3.5mm deep. The bear is detailed to both sides and hollow in the centre.
Condition - The fob is in good vintage condition but does show signs of age and wear to the gilded sterling silver and the tigers eye stone. The stone has some light surface wear and nibbles. The jump ring is a gold tone split ring and is a later addition. There is a small hole where the ring attaches to the top. Please see photos.
