How sweet is this vintage gold ironing board charm!? Even the most normal of things can feel a little bit magical when they are made in miniature out of gold!
The charm is made of 9ct gold, marked '9ct' to the bottom. Without further hallmarks it's hard to date the charm exactly but we think it likely dates to the 1940's/50s.
The charm measures approx 17.7mm long (not including the jump ring) by approx 10.1mm tall by approx 5.1mm deep and the charm weighs approx 0.75g in total.
Condition - The charm is in good vintage condition but does show signs of age and wear including surface wear to the gold throughout. The top of the ironing board has marks to the gold and there is a spot where the gold is yellower in colour. the ironing board legs also show signs of age and wear. The jump ring is currently pushed closed. Please see photos.
