Some people believe that horseshoes should be pointing upwards to hold the luck in and others believe they should be pointing downwards to let the luck shower out. Whatever you believe, there's no denying that this is a beautiful horseshoe charm!

Made of 9ct gold, we think the charm actually started life as two separate parts that have been married together at some point. We love the interest the star shaped decoration brings that's nestled inside the horseshoe and the little pop of colour the small garnet stone bring! The horseshoe is a nice large size so it's great to wear as a pendant on its own or layer with other charms.

Both the horseshoe and the star-like decoration are marked '9ct' to the back.

The charm weighs approx 2.2g and measures approx 23.6mm tall (not including the jump ring) by approx 19.8mm wide.

The jump ring is connected to one side of the horseshoe so it hangs at an angle when worn.

Condition - The charm is in good vintage condition with some surface wear to the gold and garnet. The jump ring is currently pushed closed. Please see photos.

*Please note the box and chain pictured are not included in the sale but the charm will be shipped in a new presentation box and pouch.*
