How sweet is this vintage 1970s gold cat charm? We love how it is sitting with its tail slightly curled up and those blue faux gemstone eyes really pop too!
The charm is made of 9ct gold with British hallmarks to the back for 9ct gold, Birmingham and the date letter 'C' for 1977.
The charm weighs approx 1.25g and measures approx 20.1mm tall (not including the jump ring or fitting) by approx 14.1mm wide by approx 8.3mm deep. The charm is hollow in the centre and has a small airhole to the bottom from when the charm was made.
Condition - The charm is in good vintage condition but does show signs of age and wear, including some surface wear and tarnishing to the gold. The blue faux gemstone eyes are made of plastic and have been glued in place. There is some glue residue noticeable on close inspection and one eye is a little more raised than the other. The jump ring is currently pushed closed. Please see photos.
