Said to be a symbol of good luck, wisdom and protection, this vintage, 1960s gold elephant charm would make a lovely wearable talisman. The charm is incredibly detailed throughout and has been very well made. It isn't solid, but given that it weighs approx 4.5g you would believe it is at first glance and just look at those beautiful pink ruby eyes!

The charm is made of 9ct yellow gold and has British hallmarks to one side for the maker 'GJL', 9ct gold, London and the date letter 'i' for 1964.

The charm has lovely detailing throughout and is a heavy charm, weighing approx 4.5g. The charm measures approx 19.5mm tall (not including the jump ring) by 13.7mm wide by 7.9mm deep.

Condition - The charm is in good vintage condition with some light signs of age including some light surface wear to the gold. The ruby eyes also show light signs of age and wear. There are two small air holes to the base of the elephant from when the charm was made. The jump ring is currently pushed closed. Please see photos.

*Please note the chain and box pictured are not included in the sale but the charm will be shipped in a new presentation box and pouch*
