We love searching for vintage and antique charms as you never know quite what you're going to find next! Like this vintage gold moving puzzle charm, we've never seen another quite like it before!
The tiny ball inside actually moves behind a clear piece of plastic that traps it inside a gold maze. The maze is quite tight in places so we can't quite get the ball to the centre. Perhaps it was made this way to be something that could never quite be completed!
The charm is made of 9ct gold with British hallmarks to the back for the maker 'FM', 9ct gold, London and the date letter 'a' for 1956.
The charm measures approx 17mm tall (not including the jump ring) by approx 14.5mm in diameter by approx 4mm deep and weighs approx 1.4g in total.
Condition - The charm is in good vintage condition with some signs of age and wear, including some surface wear to the gold and plastic window. There are some small indents to the gold frame of the puzzle. The jump ring is currently pushed closed. Please see photos.
