This vintage solid gold monkey charm has such a cheeky little features and we love that its holding a pearl in its hand too!
The charm is made of solid 9ct yellow gold and is marked '9ct' near the top of the tail (this is a little hard to make out). Without further marks, it's hard to date the charm exactly but we believe it's circa 1950s in age.
The charm is wonderfully detailed throughout and measures approx 20.3mm tall (not including the jump ring) by approx 9mm wide by approx 4.9mm deep and weighs approx 1.6g.
Condition - The charm is in good vintage condition with some light surface wear to the gold and pearl. The ring at the top of the monkey is wearing a little thin at the top. The jump ring is currently pushed closed. Please see photos.
