Love to travel and see the world? Then this could be the perfect charm for you! This vintage 9ct gold globe charm has the sweetest, hand painted porcelain globe that actually turns.
The outer frame of the globe is made of 9ct yellow gold and is marked '9ct' to the bottom of the base. Without further hallmarks, it's hard to date exactly but we think it likely dates to the 1950s.
The charm weighs approx 2.6g and measures approx 20.8mm tall (not including the jump ring) by approx 12.4mm wide. The porcelain globe measures approx 10mm in diameter.
Condition - The charm is in good vintage condition but does show signs of age and wear to the gold frame and the hand painted globe. There is some loss to the painting of the globe near the middle, all the way around, likely from rubbing from the frame when turned. The frame is a little bent out of shape in places and because of this, fits snugger to the globe so it can stick a little when it turns. The jump ring is currently pushed closed.
