We can't help but be reminded of a clear, crisp night sky whenever we look at this antique gold ring. It's set with three rose cut diamonds in star settings that almost look like real twinkling stars.

The ring is made of 18ct yellow gold and is marked '18ct' inside the shank. Without further hallmarks it's hard to date the ring exactly but we think it's late Victorian in age, circa 1880s-90s.
Ring size - approx a US 7 / approx a UK N 1/2 (please note that the ring is wider at chunky at the front which can make rings wear a little snugger than what they measure up at on a ring mandrel. We'd say it wears closer to a US 6.5/UK M 1/2-N)
The ring weighs approx 2.55g and it measures approx 6.3mm wide at the front, tapering down to approx 2.75mm wide at the back of the shank. The diamonds can't be measured precisely whilst in their settings, but the centre stone is approx 3.5mm in diameter, with the two outer diamonds being smaller, approx 2.5mm in diameter each.
Condition - The ring is in good antique condition to say it is over 100 years old but does show signs of age and wear, including some surface wear to the gold and diamonds. The diamonds have natural inclusions. There is a faint resize mark to the back of the shank which is hard to show in photos due to the gold's reflections. The mark is visible under close inspection. Please see photos - the last three photos have been taken with a magnifying loupe so you can see the diamonds under magnification.
