How lovely are these miniature vintage gold gardening shears!? Not only are is the charm two tones of gold, both yellow and white gold to highlight the blades against the handles, but the charm also moves like a real pair of shears too! It would be perfect for someone who's green fingered, perhaps a gardener or veggie grower!
The charm is made of 9ct yellow and white gold with British hallmarks on one of the blades for 9ct gold, Birmingham and what looks to be the date letter 'H' for 1957 (some of the date hallmark has now worn away).
The charm measurse approx 21.8mm tall (not including the jump ring) by approx 9.6mm wide when closed. The charm weighs approx 0.85g in total.
Condition - The charm is in good vintage condition with some light signs of age and wear, including some light surface wear to the gold. The blades don't quite close fully but are quite firm when pushed together as far as they will go. There is a chance when worn though that the blades may open. The jump ring is currently pushed closed. Please see photos.
