How sweet is this vintage silver and enamel bluebell charm!? We love that it's a bluebell on a bell that actually has a tiny chime inside so that the charm makes a ringing sound when moved!
In the Language of Flowers, bluebells are said to symbolise humility, constancy, gratitude and everlasting love. Apparently, if you can turn a bluebell flower inside out without damaging it, you will win the heart of the one you love and if you wear a wreath of bluebells you will only be able to speak the truth. Such a sweet flower with such a special sentiment!
The charm is made of 800 continental silver, marked '800' and 'EGO; to the back. The front of the charm has wonderful enamel detailing.
The charm weighs approx 1.35g and measures approx 12.4mm tall (not including the jump ring) by approx 13mm wide by approx 6.2mm deep.
Condition - The charm is in good vintage condition with some light signs of age and wear, including light surface wear to the silver and enamel. The jump ring is currently pushed closed and is made of sterling silver (unmarked). Please see photos.
