We love a charm that moves and this rare vintage gold charm is a symbol of an old fashioned saying! Featuring a fly with a moving clock in the centre, it represents the phrase 'time flies'.
The charm is wonderfully detailed throughout and there is a little loop at the back that actually turns the clock hands too.
The charm is makde of 9ct gold and has British hallmarks to the back for 9ct gold. Due to the wear and pattern of the gold on the back it is too hard to make out the assay mark and date letter hallmark. We believe it likely dates to the 1970s.
The charm weighs approx 2.95g and measures approx 20.1mm talll (not including the jump ring) by 18mm wide by 8mm deep.
Condition - The charm is in good vintage condition with some light signs of age and wear, including surface wear and tarnishing to the gold. The jump ring is currently pushed closed. Please see photos.
