We think this vintage silver opening typewriter charm is such a nostalgic piece! Perfect for a writer to wear as a pendant or add to their charm collection.
 
The charm is made of sterling silver, unhallmarked but tested. Without hallmarks, it's had to date exactly but we think it likely dates to the 1960/70s.
 
The charm weighs approx 4.95g and measures approx 21.7mm tall (not including the jump ring) by approx 13.6mm wide by approx 7.5mm deep when closed. 
 
Condition - The charm is in good vintage condition but does show signs of age and wear, including some surface wear to the silver. The jump ring is currently pushed closed. the hinge mechanism still works well and the charm clicks closed. Please see photos.
