A timeless classic, this mini gold heart padlock is such a sweet piece to add to your jewellery box. Often used as clasps for charm bracelets, these padlocks can also be added onto chains and worn as a pendant/charm too.
The padlock is made of 9ct gold, marked for the maker 'LC' and '375' for 9ct gold to the back. The front of the padlock has lovely faux screw and keyhole detailing. The lever opens by pulling upwards and closes with a click so it is nice and secure when worn.
The padlock measures approx 13.3mm tall (including the ring on the top bar and ring at the very top) by approx 10.1mm wide by approx 1mm deep and weighs approx 0.4g.
Condition - The padlock is in good vintage condition with some surface wear to the gold throughout. The hinge mechanism works well and the lever pulls open and pushes closed with a click. Please see photos.
