This vintage gold sewing machine charm is such a sweet piece! Perfect for a sewing enthusiast to wear as a pendant or add to their charm collection. It has such lovely detailing throughout and is three dimensional too so it looks so pretty from all angles. Not only that but the base of the sewing machine opens up to reveal a tiny array of gold sewing tools hidden inside!

The charm is made of 9ct gold and has British hallmarks for the maker 'Nuvo'. Sadly the other hallmarks are now quite worn and hard to make out but we can just about make out the 9ct gold and Birmingham hallmarks. The date letter hallmark isn't legible but we believe the charm likely dates to the 1960s.

The charm weighs approx 4g and measures approx 11.9mm tall by approx 16.1mm wide (not including the jump ring) by approx 12.7mm deep. As the jump ring has been attached to one side of the sewing machine it hangs at an angle when worn.

Condition - The charm is in good vintage condition but does show some light signs of age and wear, including some surface wear to the gold. The jump ring is currently pushed closed. Please see photos.

*Please note the box and chain pictured are not included in the sale but the charm will be shipped in a new presentation box and pouch.*
