We think this vintage gold typewriter charm is such a nostalgic piece! Perfect for a writer to wear as a pendant or add to their charm collection.
The charm is made of 9ct gold and has British hallmarks on the back for the maker 'GJLD', 9ct, London and the date letter 'C' for 1958.
The charm has such incredible detail throughout, and the paper reel even turns too! There is some red and black enamel detailing in places, mainly to some of the keys, although this has worn away quite a lot now and is only visible in a few spots.
The charm weighs approx 4.55g and measures approx 16mm tall (not including the jump ring) by approx 13mm wide by approx 7mm deep. As the jump ring has been attached to the top edge of the typewriter, it hangs pointing downwards when worn.
Condition - The charm is in good vintage condition but does show signs of age and wear, including some surface wear to the gold and quite a lot of loss to the enamel throughout. The jump ring is currently pushed closed. Please see photos.
*Please note the box and chain pictured are not included in the sale but the charm will be shipped in a new presentation box and pouch.*
