We love when jewellery is practical as well as beautiful! This vintage gold whistle charm actually works, perhaps it could be used to train your faithful, four-legged friend or maybe it would make a great usable charm for a coach.
The charm is made of 9ct yellow gold and has British hallmarks for the maker 'ZLD', 9ct gold, London and the date letter 'B' for 1976. The charm measures approx 22.3mm tall (not including the jump ring at the top) by approx 7.7mm wide by approx 7.9mm deep and weighs approx 1.2g in total.
When blown into, the whistle does sound althought it isn't the clearest of noises.
Condition - The charm is in good vintage condition with some signs of age and wear, including some light surface wear to the gold. There is a small dent to the gold towards the end of the whistle. The jump ring is currently pushed closed and is a little darker in colour.
