Here's what's inside box six of our 12 Days of Christmas (or Charm-mas if you will!) Advent Calendar... such a fun Christmas charm - a vintage gold Christmas cracker that you can actually pull! The charm is available at the special festive discounted price until we open box seven tomorrow at 6pm GMT (7th December 2023) too.
The charm is wonderfully detailed throughout and is made of 9ct gold. The two halves of the cracker nestle together and can be pulled apart, just like a real cracker! The two halves are joined together inside by two rings so they always stay connected.
The charm is made of 9ct gold and has Britsh hallmarks for 9ct gold, London and the date letter 'n' for 1968.
The charm measures approx 27.3mm long by approx 5.2mm wide (not including the jump ring) and the charm weighs approx 2.55g in total.
Condition - The charm is in good vintage condition but does show some very light signs of age and wear, including some light surface wear to the gold. The cracker is quite stiff to pull open so should stay closed when worn but the two halves are joined together inside so they always stay connected, even when open. To close the cracker just line up and gently push the two halves back together and the charm will make a light click sound when closed. The jump ring is currently pushed closed. Please see photos
