This sweet vintage gold charm is modelled on the old English nursery rhyme 'There was an Old Woman Who Lived in a Shoe'. The boot is wonderfully detailed throughout, with tiny open-work windows and even detail to the sole, and opens to reavel tiny people inside!

The charm is made of 9ct gold and has British hallmarks to the ring that the jump ring connects to for 9ct gold and the Birmingham Assay Office mark. Without a date hallmark, it's hard to date exactly but we think it's likely circa late 1970s/1980s in age.

The charm measures approx 9.1mm tall by approx 15mm wide (not including the jump ring)  by approx 5.5mm deep and the charm weighs approx 1.8g in total.

Condition - The charm is in good vintage condition with some surface wear to the gold. The hinge mechanism still opens well and the charm clicks closed. The jump ring is currently pushed closed. Please see photos

*Please note the antique chain and box pictured are not included in the sale but the charm will be shipped in a new presentation box and pouch*
