We love how proudly this vintage gold cat is sitting. It has wonderful details throughout, right down to its cute little face and fur lines. Just look at that fluffy chest!
The charm is made of 9ct gold, marked '9ct' to the reverse. Without hallmarks, it's hard to date the charm exactly but we've had similar charms with hallmarks that have dated to the 1950s so we think it's likely dates to the 1950s or possibly early 1960s.
The charm weighs approx 0.75g and measures approx 18.7mm tall (not including the jump ring) by approx 10.2mm wide by approx 4.8mm deep. The charm is hollow in the middle and detailed to both sides.
Condition - The charm is in good vintage condition but does show signs of age and wear, including some surface wear to the gold. The cat's features are a little rubbed and smoothed over with love and wear but we think that just adds to its character! There is a small airhole to the back from when the charm was made. The jump ring is currently pushed closed. Please see photos.
