One of our favourite type of talismans to wear, this vintage gold wishbone would make a lovely charm to symbolise luck or maybe even a wish you'd like to become true. We think it would be perfect for someone born in 1987 too as it has British hallmarks dating it to the year!

The charm is made of 9ct yellow gold with British hallmarks to one side for 9ct gold, London and the date letter 'N' for 1987. There is also a maker's mark but it's a little worn and hard to make out clearly, we think it might read EAC.

The charm measures approx 24mm tall by approx 8mm wide by approx 5mm deep and weighs just under 1g at approx 0.95g.  There is a hole at the top of the wishbone so it can be threaded straight onto a chain. The hole is oval in shape and measures approx 4.5mm by 3mm. If you prefer, a jump ring could be added to this via the hole instead.

Condition - The charm is in good vintage condition but does show signs of age and wear, including some surface wear and a little tarnishing to the gold. There is a small indent towards the top of the right fork/prong to the front. Please see photos.

*Please note the chain and box pictured are not included in the sale but the charm will be shipped in a new presentation box and pouch*
