We do also offer layaway over a three month period too free of charge, please email info@kategoldjewellery.com for further details. Thank you for bearing with us!

We've found a couple of vintage gold opening egg charms before, but never one with a rabbit hiding inside! Not only is the egg beautifully decorated with a large gold bow to the outisde, but the rabbit inside also has white and pink enamel detailing too.

The charm is made of 9ct gold and has British hallmarks on the back for the maker 'BLD' 9ct gold, London and the date letter 'D' for 1978.

The charm measures approx 17mm tall (not including the jump ring) by approx 11.8mm wide by approx 13mm deep and weighs approx 4.75g in total.

Condition - The charm is in good vintage condition but does show some signs of age and wear. There is some light surface wear to the gold and there is also some enamel loss to the rabbit inside. The opening mechnaism of the charm works well and clicks closed to stay closed when worn The jump ring is currently pushed closed. Please see photos.

*Please note the box and chain pictured are not included in the sale but the charm will be shipped in a new presentation box and pouch.*
