What's more, the acorn also opens up to reveal a tiny gold squirrel hiding inside too!
The charm is made of 9ct gold and has British hallmarks on one side for the maker 'S P', 9ct gold, Birmingham and the date letter 'W' for 1971.
The charm has beautiful detailing throughout and weighs approx 3.1g. It measures approx 17.4mm tall (not including the jump ring) by approx 11.3mm wide by approx 10.5mm deep.
Condition - The charm is in good vintage condition with some signs of age and wear including some light surface wear to the gold.The hinge mechanism still works well and the charm does click closed but there is a little movement to the acorn top when closed and a small gap can show between the two. The jump ring is currently pushed closed.
